For Sources at Risk
If you are sharing information that could place you or others at risk, do not use ordinary email. Request our Signal address or PGP public key by sending a blank message to secure@therussianissues.com — an auto-reply will return our current encryption details.
We support SecureDrop for anonymous document submission. Our onion address is published on the front page of the print edition and rotated quarterly. We do not log submission IP addresses, and we review submissions on air-gapped machines.
Never include identifying details in your first message. Our desk will guide you through a secure intake process before any substantive information is exchanged.
